1/Serena is on the second-longest winning streak in WTA Finals history.
Serena has won her last 15 matches at the WTA Finals, going 5-0 at each of her title runs in 2009, 2012 and 2013. Only Martina Navratilova has won more in a row here - 21 between '83 and '86. 
 2) Nobody has won more matches in 2014 than Ivanovic. 
Ivanovic has won a whopping 56 WTA main draw matches this year, which isn't just the most of anyone, but no one else has even gotten to 50. 
Carla Suárez Navarro is second on the list with 49.

3) Serena may be 7-1 against Ivanovic, but the gap has definitely tightened this year. Before 2014, Serena was 4-0 against Ivanovic, never losing a set - never being pushed beyond a 6-4 set, either.
