Ana is seeded fifth at the Miami Open, which begins on Tuesday. She receives a first round bye. In round two Ana will take on either Puerto Rican Monica Puig or a qualifier. 
27th seed Sabine Lisicki could await in round three, while No.11 Sara Errani is a possible fourth round opponent. 
 Ana is seeded to face world No.1 Serena Williams in the quarter-finals. Possible semi-final opponents include No.3 Simona Halep and No.6 Eugenie Bouchard. The leading seeds in the bottom half of the draw, whom Ana cannot meet until the final, include No.2 Maria Sharapova, No.4 Caroline Wozniacki, No.7 Agnieszka Radwanska and No.8 Ekaterina Makarova
